It's Been A Long Time.

It's been a very long time since I used this blog. I started it with high hopes of using it to keep family and friends updated on all that is going on with the Harman family. Well...that went by the wayside very quickly. Life! Am I right? (he says slowly as he shakes his head and smiles) And now, so much has happened since the last post here that it would be such a long post no one (including me) would want to read it.

So...the dilemma!

Let's start with now and see if some of the past details fall into place.

Right now we are living in Hendersonville, TN. Very long story on how we got here but...the boiled version of it is this. We were in a place without a community of people around us. We were without jobs. The landlord decided to sell the home we were living in. And we had to make a decision. Seeking direction from the Lord? Understatement! Finally, after much prayer, council, tears and talking God brought us to a question. If we could go anywhere and be in community with a church we know, where would it be? Melissa and I both had the same answer, The Bridge Fellowship.

TBF is a church that was started by my buddy Phil Wilson.  Phil and I were in ministry together for a few years in Spanish Fort Alabama. The premise of the church has always been, we are all messed up and need Jesus and community is where we will find people that will traverse this life of a Christ Follower with me.

The decision was made. What a relief! We knew what we were doing! If we only knew, the battle had just begun. That is another story for another time.

After a lengthy search for a home in a crazy housing market and a quickly approaching move-out date, we found a house. Finally got moved in. Started attending TBF and as of tonight we will be leading our second Life Group.

Melissa is working as a tutor at the Huntington Learning Center. Natalie has a possible interview at the Hendersonville Library and I am still looking and waiting.

We are taking each day one at a time. Doing our best to allow the Holy Spirit to quide us, empower us and help us find joy in each moment.

Thanks for tagging along with us!

We appreciate the many of you who still continue to pray for us. We need it daily.
